Beginner Group Classes

Ever wanted to try your hand at taxidermy? This beginner-friendly workshop is your chance to create your very own mouse masterpiece — no experience required! 5 spaces available for each class.


Whether you’re looking for a quirky gift, a memorable couples’ activity, or a unique family day out, this class is equal parts fascinating, educational, and fun. We welcome curious minds aged 10+ (children under 14 must be accompanied one-to-one by an adult). Along the way, you’ll learn about nature, biology, and natural history — all in a relaxed, light-hearted setting.


 What’s included:


 - All tools, materials, and guidance provided

 -  Small props and accessories to dress up your mouse (choose up to 3) — or bring your own for extra flair

 - Expert instruction, with all chemical handling (acetone) done by the teacher only


 Class details:

 - Held in West London W12 area. Full address given upon purchase of ticket.

 - Starts at 12:00 sharp (arrive from 11:45)

 - Ends no later than 4:00pm (everyone always finishes in time)

 - Ages 10+ welcome (adult required per child under 14)

 - Tap water available; no food or snacks during class for hygiene reasons

Small groups & Private tuition

Private beginner classes are held in West London from 12pm (with short break) and can be organised for groups of minimum 2 people, maximum 5 people. We allow 4 hours for the class but usually wrap up before that. A choice of chick or mouse specimens are available to do, but not both, as we will all need to work on the same species. Cost is  £125 per person, half of the class cost must be paid upfront via bank transfer or Paypal as a deposit to secure your place with the remainder paid on the day of class.

Intermediate tuition

If you have experience of taxidermy or have completed a beginner class then 1-on-1 tuition is available for £35 an hour, or £250 for the day.

Medium birds are available in our 1 day Intermediate Classes.

Intermediate Classes

Intermediate classes are held in West London at 10 - 6pm (7 hours of working time and multiple breaks included) and can be organised for groups of 1 - 5 people. The class involves mounting a bird around the size or a crow/ dove and will depend on which specimens are available, feel free to inquire as to what we have available currently.

 Cost is  £250 per person, half of the class cost must be paid upfront via bank transfer or Paypal as a deposit to secure your place with the remainder paid on the day of class. This class is suitable for anyone with previous taxidermy experience but not recommended for beginners.
